And then there was one! A few weeks ago I witness one of my close friends get married to her longtime beau. The wedding and reception were held at the same place but it was a beautiful ceremony. The newlyweds included their children in the sand ceremony, who also stood up in the wedding for them. I cried but that’s usual for me.
All my friends share a special talent. A few of us helped with the organization and execution of the wedding. I was originally going to do a candy table but due to me having to give finals at work, I opted out and created wedding favors for the guest with the help of my friends.
Since, now I’m the only one left single within our close knit group, you know I had to be fashionable at the wedding. But let’s be honest, I would of been fashionable if I was apart of the married population.
The colors for the wedding were navy, grey, and silver. I wanted to keep with the colors. I found the “I’ll Be Around” jacket from Fashion Nova which was ivory but has navy blue, mauve, and olive green flowers throughout it. I immediately wanted the jacket. Since, the jacket was going to the be focal point I wanted everything else to be solid with no patterns. I found the “V is for Victory Cut-Out Charm” navy dress on Gojane and wore my olive “Caught Up” heels from Windsor. A long linked choker chain and large cloudy round studs were the accessories I added to complete the look.
I wish my friend and her husband a long and prosperous marriage!
