A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to celebrate my 15 year class reunion as being a high school graduate. Let me be the first to say that the weekend was epic. The city came out and showed out during the entire weekend, peacefully!
The reunion weekend jumped off Friday night with a midnight boat cruise on the Mystic Blue off of Navy Pier. The committee, which included myself, decided that the boat cruise would be an All White event so we would stand out amongst the rest of the party goers.
As usual, I stress out about finding something white to wear. I despise the way I look in white but instead getting in the gym and doing something about it, I just camouflage my weak points. I followed all the rules this time wearing the White Ever After Lace Dress featured on Windsor’s website. This dress featured a lace top with long sleeves where one sleeve was lace and the other one is solid. The bottom half of the dress featured a mini covered by a wrap silhouette. I added my Chinese Laundry Levita Multi Sequin Ankle Strapped Heels I wore to an event last year and my gold link chain to complete the look for the evening.
The committee president surprised everyone who attended the cruise with a “West Side High Reunion Survival Kit.” The kit contained a shout wipe (for the all white event), Advil, mini water bottle, hood candies (frooties and chews), and a whistle to keep the turn up going.
