Twisted Tops, Dusters, and Pleats

With fall well underway, and actually winter trying to creep in and make an early appearance, I am way overdue for a Fall Lookbook. This year all the stores are stocking up on faux fur, leather, and lots of shiny and shimmery clothes. This lookbook will display casual looks, as well as, dressy evening and night time looks that are perfect for the early fall nights.

Look #1

This first look is a causal, during the day, look. This look can be wore whether you meeting some friends to grab some lunch or running errands on the weekend. I chose to model my ZigiGirl boots but the shoes can easily be interchanged with some wheat Timberlands.   There is no season that can go without a little color and the lime green duster, I am wearing, inspired this look. Light Levi’s were added to compliment the duster as well as the tan ZigiGirl Z-Jo boots.   A patterned cutout clutch with a lime, orange, and blue necklace, and gold bracelets flattered the ensemble.

Looks #2

The next look features another item that seems to be in style this season, the twisted top. Items like this started to make an appearance last winter but now alterations have been added, by making the back of the shirt extremely long compared to the front. I purchased this top during a trip to the mall. With the top being black and paired dark high-waist denim jeans, I added color with some multi-colored booties and an orange clutch. I completed the look with a gold link chain and a set of bangles.

Look #3

This is what I like to call Fun and Flirty. Yet another trend: PLEATS!!! The skirt speaks for itself. It really doesn’t matter where you wear this skirt because it will turn heads. This gold-pleated skirt is a statement on its own. This skirt can be wore high waisted or around the hips. I chose to wear it as a high waist skirt with a chambray button up top. White chain booties were added to the outfit, as well as a gold magazine clutch. This look wouldn’t be complete without my favorite necklace and bracelet combination.
