We’ve barely made it one forth through the school year and a break was already much needed. So this extended weekend was all about fun and relaxation. I did not want to think about work until Tuesday morning.
Saturday was Sweetest Day, without a sweetie, my girls and I decided to get fancy and hit the town. We enjoyed a great dinner at Pappadeaux and continued the night with a little bit of turn up at a local club. On Saturday I wore a black-based multi-colored paint splattered midi dress from Akira Chicago. I accented the dress with black Mary Jane wedges, a royal blue choker necklace, a black and gold bracelet set, and a royal blue clutch.
Sunday my cousin celebrated her birthday at Bar Louie in Matteson, where the atmosphere was laidback. So I took the venue and Sunday in consideration, and didn’t want a fancy look, Therefore, I wanted to do something cute and simple. Sunday I wore a burgundy leatherette peplum top from Rue 21, dark denim jeans, and burgundy open toe booties. I highlighted the outfit with my favorite bold gold necklace and bracelet set.
Overall the weekend was a blast!!!! I spent Monday chilling and watching Monday Night Football!!! Now to get ready for rest of the week and school year!!! Until next time!!!
