It’s only befitting that I celebrate my birthday in style and this year was no different. My birthday was the bomb and I appreciate everyone who came out and celebrated with me. I really didn’t know what I wanted to do for my birthday but definitely wanted to turn up. A few days before I decided that bowling and downtown clubbing would be the agenda for the weekend.
OMG, bowling was the bomb with the squad. We showed up and showed out. We had a ball at the bowling alley, then at Pepes, and the finale of the evening at the nightcap was even better. Saturday, I attended the monthly breakfast club lunch at the restaurant of my choice, Chili’s. I had a taste for that Corona Rita. Saturday night was great. I decided on going to a nightclub downtown Chicago called Shrine. It was packed and the DJ was on point. We turned up from the time we walked through the door until the club closed. Even more special, I celebrated my actually born day with my birthday twin, Uncle Perk, at Outback Steakhouse.
Saturday was all about being pretty. To lunch I wore a navy tube jumpsuit with a camel bow and gold outlined belt with a pair of Jessica Simpson camel round studded wedges accented the belt. I then covered my shoulders with a cutoff denim vest. For accessories, I added my favorite matching bold link chain and bracelet to complete the look.
When we hit the club, later that night, I wore a purple floral print long sleeve mini dress that replicated one that Kim Kardashian was caught wearing on the red carpet. I completed this look with a pair of nubuck black strap wedges. Then added a black iridescent bead necklace with black-brushed dot earrings, and black, white, and silver bracelet set.
More pictures from the weekend!!!
My 31st birthday celebration is over and was great. The turn up was real and these 30s are turning out to be pretty fantastic.
Happy belated birthday! We’re so glad we were there to celebrate with you. 🙂
